Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG

Emastin is recommended for the control of bollworms on cotton, fruit and shoot borer on okra, Diamond back moth on cabbage, fruit borer, thrips and mites on chilli, fruit and shoot borer on brinjal, pod borer on redgram chickpea, Thrips on Grapes and Tea looper on Tea.

Apply the insecticide when the incidence of larvae is first observed and repeat applications as necessary. Apply the insecticide in sufficient quantity of water to ensure thorough coverage of the foliage.

Recommendations

First Aid

  • Remove the affected person to a well ventilated area or fresh air and protect him from undercooling. Remove contaminated clothing and thoroughly wash the affected parts of the body with soap and water.
  • Rinse eyes with clean water for several minutes. If ingested, give the patient one or two glasses of water, if able to swallow. Do not induce vomitting.
  • Get the attention of the medical doctor immediately.
  • Note: Do not induce vomiting or never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

 

Poisoning

  • Early symptoms of poisoning may be a combination of dilation of pupils, muscular incoordination, ataxia and muscle tremors.

Precautions

  • Keep away from foodstuffs, empty foodstuff containers and animals food.
  • Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin.
  • Avoid inhalation the spray mist. Spray in the direction of wind.
  • Wash thoroughly the contaminated clothes and parts of the body after spraying.
  • Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying.
  • Wear full protective clothing while mixing and spraying.
